Plan Your Visit
We recommend at least 60-90 minutes for your visit, all ages welcome.
General admission tickets to the Light Circus are $15. Discount tickets are $10, and apply for Nevada residents, seniors, and students. Members get in free all year! We are currently putting the finishing touches on the museum and will be announcing our official opening hours soon.
There is always something new to see. We offer a rotating variety of guided experiences, including Nevada history tours, downtown Reno walking tours to see neon in the wild, and special film events. The museum also serves as a dynamic community hub and will host seasonal events like fireworks viewing and Nevada Day celebrations. Our visually striking space is perfect to rent for private events, corporate parties, and weddings. Contact us for venue rental details at info@lightcircus.org.
We are conveniently located in downtown Reno, situated on the ground floor of the National Bowling Stadium. There is a parking garage just half a block away on East Plaza that typically charges around $7 for two hours. If the bowling stadium is open, you can park there. Check the metered street parking across from our front door.
- We encourage you to capture the neon glow!
- During regular visits, guests are welcome to take pictures using their cell phones only for personal, non-commercial use.
- For any other photography, contact us to schedule a photography session, so you can get the perfect shot.
- We love children—when they enjoy the neon signs supervised by their adult. Our historic signs are made of fragile glass.
- For your safety and the conservation of the collection, please do not bump into or touch the signs or sit on the display platforms. (Give them space!) Guests are financially liable for any damage.
Share the museum with friends! If your membership includes guest passes, we can put your guests on the guestlist if you contact us in advance at info@lightcircus.org.
The Light Circus Nevada Neon Museum is fully ADA accessible. Our facility is located on the ground floor of a city building, meaning there are no stairs to navigate. For those driving, there are also four to six dedicated accessible parking spots available in the Bowling Stadium parking garage just before the gate.
Make a day out of your visit to the museum! We are located in the heart of the city, just one block away from The ROW, which features a vibrant array of dining and entertainment options. We highly encourage you to walk the neighborhood, grab a bite to eat, and become a “sign spotter” by checking out historic local neon still shining in the wild, like the iconic Reno Arch.
